Libra is a Latin word that means the scales. Sodium, or sodium phosphate, maintains a balance between acids and other body fluids. Acid is organic and can be chemically split into two or more components, thereby destroying the way in which they are chemically complexed to form acid. A certain amount of acid is always present in the blood, nerves, stomach and liver. Excess always results from a deficiency of Libra’s alkaline salt. Acid is likely to cause teeth grinding in sleep; it can be assumed that the gastrointestinal parasites are produced by the fermentation process taking place over this long period, which often leads to convulsions in children and adults. In children, especially at night, the throat can be so sore from the presence of acid that it resembles diphtheria, on top of that morning sickness, a yellow coating on the back of the tongue, itching and flea-like spots are all the result of a considerable deficit of this salt.
Other symptoms resulting from a deficiency: headache in the crown area and in the forehead, a feeling of a bursting skull, intense feeling of pressure and heat, headache with stomach pain, acidic, foamy discharge, dizziness, inflammation of the eyes and accompanying golden yellow discharge. In the case of a deficiency, we will observe secretions and tongue coating in the same color. With the lack of sodium phosphate, the ears may become sore and crusty with discharge, or they may become very hot. There may also be: itchy nose due to invermination, reddened face with appearing and reappearing spots, regurgitation of acidic food, sour taste in the mouth, gangrene of the oral cavity, tonsillitis and pharyngitis, dyspepsia, superficial gastric ulceration. Sometimes a long-term presence of acid in the stomach can lead to an ulcer so severe that it may be mistaken for cancer. Often times, however, it can actually lead to the development of cancer. Occasionally there is diarrhea, especially in children, and significant amounts of jelly-like, mucus discharge from the throat. Another symptom of a deficiency is an insufficient amount of urine and a burning sensation with urination, amenorrhea, increased sex drive, acid vaginal discharge, sometimes watery, and sometimes denser, yellowish, irregular menstruation, accompanied by pain in the frontal portion of the head, palpitations, irregular heartbeat, chest tremors, rheumatoid arthritis, painful joint popping, eczema, rubella, hives, hot flushes due to indigestion, rectal itching, restless sleep.
Sodium phosphate is the salt of the Libra sign. Libra governs the kidneys and lower back as well as the acid-base balance of the body. Sodium Phosphate prevents acidity or excess alkalinity, especially in the bloodstream. It helps the kidneys to function properly and is used in the treatment of gout, kidney stones, ulcers and gastric hyperacidity. Sodium phosphate can affect emotional balance and helps to maintain it, especially after mental exertion or in situations of tension and stress. It is the biochemical equivalent of an acid. It works well in all manifestations of acidosis. The indications for sodium phosphate include heart disease, dyspepsia, and other digestive ailments are all indications. It is also effective against worms and parasites. When we detect an excessively acidic reaction in saliva or urine (pH 6.4 is ideal, you can check it with a pH test available at pharmacies), sodium phosphate along with fresh fruit and vegetables can work as an aid in restoration of the acid-base balance. It regulates the acid-base balance of the body, including the skin. When taken orally, it has a mild laxative effect. Sodium phosphate prevents arthritis – gout.
